Sierra and Ashton Hironaka
A Simple Wave was founded by Ashton and Sierra Hironaka — a husband-and-wife team driven by compassion, purpose, and a shared dream that began over a decade ago. On their very first date, they sat in camping chairs on the side of a mountain and talked about one thing: how they wanted to help people and create something meaningful. Twelve years later, that dream has become a reality through A Simple Wave.
Sierra has worked in elder care since 2018, following her graduation from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2016. She holds an active SSW license and has completed dozens of continuing education courses focused on senior care, advocacy, and family support. Her deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by older adults and their families forms the heart of A Simple Wave’s mission.
Ashton brings years of experience in sales, business development, and building genuine connections — he’s known for his ability to make everyone feel like a friend. Together, Ashton and Sierra combine their professional skills and personal passion to bring calm, clarity, and care to families navigating senior life decisions.
Their shared hope is simple: to help alleviate the stress of senior care so families can focus on what truly matters — enjoying time together.
